As Financial & Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for applying accounting techniques to classify & record transactions, consolidate and analyze data in accordance with statutory, USGAAP and SOX requirements. You will also analyze financial and operational data when required, investigate variances, identify key business drivers and evaluate their impact on planned objectives. Your key deliverables: Work in a team environment to drive improvement in financial and operational processes through automation, standardization, systems and tools. Take full responsibility for the assigned month end closing processes; working in collaboration with business partners to populate management reporting. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis for the assigned business unit(s) and account codes, including full analysis and supporting documentation for all balances. Support various financial analysis, forecasting, planning, reconciliations and ad-hoc reporting. Ensure adequacy of all internal controls through SOX compliance and risk management which applies to the areas of responsibility. Exposure to Forex and Hedge Accounting. Work closely with the Team Leader - Accounting in achieving the required goals and timelines. Posting and controlling import cost documents on SAP via T- Code MIRO. Being key contact to improve effectiveness and implement MIRO process by working SAP project teams. Accrual Rebate Calculation (Customer sales performance incentive programme) Fixed Asset process and posting related invoices on SAP Submission of E-Ledger & tax returns (monthly, quarterly and annual) by working with independent audit company - full process. Vendor invoice posting Being in coordination with supply chain team to review and analyse costing results which is part of inventory controlling. MIS (management information system) - Monthly Product line reporting submission
LI-ID1 Qualifications Are you? Required: Bachelors in Business Administration & Economics or related other disciplines Experience of 3-5 years in a relevant accounting / finance role Preferably CPA/CMA Advanced SAP knowledge must Good level of understanding of US GAAP and SOX Experience in financial forecasting & modelling and local statutory requirements Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial analysis/reports Knowledge and understanding of (accounting) principles, policies and (business) concepts Good level of Excel knowledge Strong analytical skills Good communication skills with knowledge of written and spoken English Flexible and must be able to work closely with all levels of management and functions.
