E&I Technician, Water

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations. <br><br>We are currently seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for a role based at Mount Crosby at the West Bank Water Treatment Plant. <br><br>Applicants <b>must have full work rights</b> in Australia and live <b>within 50kms</b> of Mount Crosby to be considered for the role. <br><br>We are looking for candidates who are <b>dual trade qualified with HV licensing and switching experience</b> in an asset & maintenance environment. You will have a strong commitment to safety, enjoy working in a team environment and are self-motivated. A background in water would be considered advantageous. <br><br>At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA for this region, in place. <br><br><b>Responsibilities </b> <br><ul><li> Ability to provide electrical/instrumentation services in relation to the operation, maintenance, refurbishment and augmentation of Seqwater's mechanical and civil assets across water treatment plants, dams and supply systems </li><li> Provide technical advice and support </li><li> Perform routine asset inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with the relevant job plans and record details of maintenance activities into the asset management system </li><li> Experience with data assessment, ordering spares and recording (Microsoft Excel) </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Current Electrical Licence </li><li> LVR & CPR is a requirement </li><li> Dual Trade Certificate ideal </li><li> Must have Construction White Card or equivalent </li><li> Demonstrable strong commitment to safety </li><li> Enjoy working in a team environment and self-motivated </li><li> Ability to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the role </li><li> Current First Aid, Confined Space with Breathing Apparatus and Gas Test Atmosphere, along with Working at Heights, are all desirable tickets, but not essential. </li></ul><br> The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br>Wood recognise the importance of an inclusive and culturally diverse workforce.
