Staff Product Owner

Come join us! As a Staff Product Owner, you will dive into creating innovative solutions that enable us to deliver world class software to our customers. Our engineering teams use our own products to monitor our SaaS platform and infrastructure and continuously provide feedback on product vision and strategy. You'll join an inspiring team dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and automation that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be creating best product experience on our SaaS monitoring products. You’ll be able to deliver value quickly and iteratively via our Agile software development lifecycle process. In addition to strong compensation packages and the opportunity to solve challenging problems with skilled colleagues, we also offer: An opportunity to build our observability platform and products via Secure-by-Design principle The challenge of building SaaS products An autonomy in your work life An opportunity to build our next-generation product experience using modern and next-generation technology Responsibilities A successful Product Owner should own and manage following responsibilities Demonstrate empathy towards customers and reflect it on product experience Orchestrate product development lifecycle from inception of business requirement to release of the feature Create functional specifications for the feature Oversee all phases of product feature creation including design and development Collaborate across functions – product management, architecture, engineering, user experience, SRE - to manage requirements and dependencies Define vision for engineering team’s roadmap Create a product roadmap and backlog for this vision Continuously manage product backlog and prioritize based on changing requirements Participate in team’s sprint activities Ensure functional integrity of the product Continuously and iteratively deliver product value Qualifications The right candidate is adept at defining engineering requirements and managing product engineering process. Previous experience working as a product owner Great knowledge of product engineering process and architecture In-depth knowledge of scrum and agile software development methodology Good knowledge of on-premise and SaaS application development Previous experience in a technical role is an added bonus Has a knack for great product user experience Excellent oral and written communication Ability to prioritize effectively Ability to work with large, distributed teams An ideal candidate will Collaborate with a diversified high-performing multi-location team Design functional solutions to business requirements Follow and promote agile methodologies Have excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills Have a strong understanding of DevOps methodologies/practices
