Commissioning Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently sourcing for a motivated Commissioning engineer to work as part of our commissioning team. This role will be based at Wood Sale Office or Melbourne office by negotiation. Role also involves regular site travel which includes Long Island Point, Longford and Offshore platforms. <br><br> The Commissioning Engineer role may vary depending on the specific assignment undertaken but would typically involve the activities below: <br><ul><li> Identifying, implementing, and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements </li><li> Prepare and maintain project documentation including Commissioning documentation, supporting Quality Plans and other documents as required </li><li> Review documentation including contractor's documents and drawings </li><li> Ensure technical queries are managed in accordance with process and procedures </li><li> Support Engineering Changes and manage the preparation of supporting and affected documents </li><li> Prepare commissioning documents and act as Test Team Leader for the T&CP </li><li> Develop the commissioning plans and the test documentation from the high level commissioning strategy </li><li> Plan, Manage, and Direct the commissioning Team to allow the day to day commissioning activates to proceed to program </li><li> Make decisions during active commissioning </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> 5 years minimum experience in the Oil and Gas/Petrochem industry. At least 3 years role experience </li><li> Valid Electrical Licence </li><li> Certificate III: Instrumentation and Control </li><li> Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems </li><li> Hazardous Areas (either EEHA or full Cert IV) and HV switching. Ideally refreshed within the last 2 years </li><li> Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue </li><li> Construction Card </li><li> Actively develops relationships with customers and Wood entities via regular contact and involvement.
