Senior or Principal Piping Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood (trading locally as JSC WOOD KSS) is currently looking for a Senior or Principal Piping Engineer for 4-6 months to join our team in Atyrau (for KZ passport holders). <br><br>Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Design and development, piping material specifications, preparation or checking of Equipment layout drawings,preparation or checking of design calculations and specifications, preparation or checking of piping General Arrangement Drawings / piping Isometrics <br></li><li> Evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques and procedures <br></li><li> Prepare and check plot plan and Equipment Layout Drawings <br></li><li> Provide technical support to field personnel as required and answering engineering queries <br></li><li> Prepare technical bid clarification and technical bid evaluation for valves, supports and Special Piping items <br></li><li> Carry out site survey and report preparation <br></li><li> Review of piping design documents and provide report to the Leads <br></li><li> Assist Piping Lead engineer <br></li><li> Perform stress analysis and prepare stress analysis reports will be an added trait <br></li><li> Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter <br></li><li> Devises new approaches to problems encountered <br></li><li> Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria <br></li><li> Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex featuressuch as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordinationrequirements. Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. <br></li><li> Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Requires sufficient professional experience to assure competence as a fully trained professional <br></li><li> Work requires a broad knowledge of precedents.
