If you share our passion for discovery and want to find out what you could really do, then here is the place to do it. <br> <br> <b>Job Description:</b><br> <br> <b>The Position holder is responsible for: </b><br> <ul> <li> Owning the Supplier Contracts process from the moment the tender evaluation commences up and until the closure of the execution Contract. Predominantly for Construction and engineering services</li> <li> Ensuring and promoting compliance with Schlumberger policies, standards, procedures, and contractual obligations.</li> <li> Closely working with Contracts and/or Legal function to help review and assessing the liabilities present in Customer Contracts, Subcontracts or Supplier Contracts in order to understand contractual risks and lead the supplier T&C negotiations.</li> </ul> <br> <b>Activities: </b><br> <ul> <li> Establish supplier contracts to implement the chosen business strategy of the project effectively, maximizing contractual protection to Schlumberger through client/prime contract back to back flowdowns.</li> <li> Collaborate with the Contracts & Legal Department, Finance Department (including Tax), HSE, Sourcing & Procurement, Operations (or any other department/function) as appropriate, to ensure contractual and commercial risks and exposures are clearly identified, analyzed and properly addressed.</li> <li> Conduct HQ review of tender / proposal key components at Gate A, B and C levels</li> <li> Participate and contribute in all tender and execution PLG and CME gates where applicable</li> <li> Engage key stakeholders as required including Executive Schlumberger Sponsors.</li> <li> Finalize contracts for signature once all the stakeholders and parties are in agreement.</li> <li> Manages supplier contracts claims or disputes with the support of the Legal Department whenever necessary.</li> <li> Negotiates and closes contractual disputes for the assigned Global Category, being responsible for negotiation strategies, resolution and follow up in coordination with the Legal Department and the Supply Chain Management teams</li> <li> Review and discuss proposed draft contract with all relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with tax, HSE, and all other functions involved.</li> <li> Benchmark performance and audit suppliers with assistance from key stakeholders.</li> <li> Provide contracts guidance and support to Sourcing Specialists</li> </ul> <br> <b>Qualifications:</b><br> <ul> <li> 6+ years Contracts Management, or Project execution experience, with demonstrable knowledge of construction SOW.</li> <li> Prior work experience in Production Facility / EPCC Projects</li> <li> Civil engineering background an advantage.</li> <li> EPCC experience.</li> <li> Contract management.</li> <li> Variation order management.</li> <li> Contract / Legal Review</li> </ul> <br> Schlumberger is an equal opportunity employer.
