Operations Manager - Downstream Chemicals (m/f/d)

To ensure that our chemicals help to revolutionize the process and solve problems.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br>The Operations Manager will manage technical support, sales and service delivery for Oilfield & Industrial Chemicals in the mainland Europe region with particular focus on Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Romania, Croatia. You will be responsible for ensuring that Baker Hughes maximizes its short and long-term revenue and profit opportunities.<br><br>As Service Delivery / Operations Manager - Downstream Chemicals, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Managing and overseeing Chemical operations to provide support and guidance to our customers in UK and Europe.<br></li><li>You will ensure flawless execution, on-time delivery, contract adherence and cash collection.<br></li><li>Work with key accounts team to support and drive profitable growth with corporate customer base, such as ExxonMobil, Shell, BP, ENI, MOL, OMV, Borealis, Sabic.<br></li><li>Support and develop market attractiveness and penetration strategies with senior leadership team for long term business growth.<br></li><li>Reviewing work activities, job programs and design through collaboration with the sales team and understanding client's requirements<br></li><li>A dedicated resource to drive these interactions, develop relationships and position ourselves well within the problem-solving & value delivery arena.<br></li><li>Confident to kickstart the customer interaction, technical discussion and opportunity discovery.<br></li><li>Maintaining existing business contracts and customer relationships to help identify new business opportunities<br></li><li>Owning financial planning to understand revenues, expenses, headcount and profitability<br></li><li>Managing and developing your team to ensure effective planning, share knowledge and to encourage success<br></li><li>Maintaining internal compliance and HSE standards to ensure a safe working environment<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion<br>To be successful in this role you will:</b><br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or demonstrate relevant industry experience<br></li><li>Demonstrate expertise in Chemical operations within the Oil & Gas industry<br></li><li>Demonstrate business acumen and ability to ensure product & project delivery<br></li><li>Demonstrate experience in the petrochemical process and water treatment environment.<br></li><li>Demonstrate experience in desalting, overhead corrosion control and fouling control.<br></li><li>Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with internal teams and customers<br></li><li>Show the ability to lead and coordinate several projects simultaneously<br></li><li>Have a proven track-record of growing a business and delivering profitable results<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
