Key Account Manager - Process Automation

We are looking for a Key Account Manager – Process Automation to join our team and support industrial automation applications. Mission: Develop and grow the direct sales of automation-related solutions (products, software and services) to industrial customers, with a primary focus on Malaysia and Digital solutions. Key responsibilities: Promote and sell relevant offers to meet/exceed overall order intake targets. Core offers include process control and safety systems. Special focus on sales of Digital offers including digital transformation consulting services, software solutions (Aveva, ProLeit), cybersecurity assessments/cybersecurity application platform, etc. Employ a Customer First outside-in approach to selling – first understand customer frictions/needs, then recommend solutions to address these. Develop/improve upon growth strategy for target growth segments esp Chemicals, Water. Grow the sales opportunity pipeline in target growth segments. Directly pursue and win sales. Maintain updated data in CRM system (Salesforce) for own opportunities to enable accurate sales analytics, sales forecasting and business planning Embody Digital leadership e.g. actively leveraging of digital sales enablement tools and supporting digital marketing efforts for demand generation Required experiences/qualifications: > 7 years experience in solution sales for industrial automation with an individual sales target. Experience in the Chemicals, other Industrial Manufacturing and/or Water industries. Good understanding of control systems, safety systems and software solutions. Deep technical knowledge is not necessary as this role will work with subject matter experts for the respective offer areas. Fluent in English (spoken and written) Demonstrated experience with sales hunting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to establish C-level connections with customers. Experience working in a matrix organization. Leadership to effectively lead sales opportunity teams across functions and to collaborate across business units to win sales as One Schneider. Enjoys constant learning, challenges and has a problem-solving mindset. Has a good team spirit. Business development skills (e.g. market research, business analysis, strategy development) is a plus. Experience with Aveva is a plus. Experience with customers for both continuous and batch process industries is a plus. Existing relationships with end-users in the above-mentioned industries is a plus. What's in it for me?
