IOPC Fund Coordinator (Oil Spill & Emergency Response)

For our client, a major company responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry, we are looking fora IOPC Fund Coordinator (Oil Spill &amp; Emergency Response).<br />
<br />
Responsibilities:<br />
<br />
Develop a comprehensive Oil Spill Claims System for company and the State of Qatar in accordance with the IOPC (International Oil Pollution Compensation) Funds 1992 Claims Procedure.<br />
<br />
Develop and establish the claims system relating to oil spills from ships for company and the State from the ground up.<br />
<br />
Requirements<br />
<br />
&bull; 12 Years of experience in Planning / Costing / Finance of which 5 years in a supervisory capacity in Oil &amp; Gas Industry or environmental Organisation.<br />
<br />
&bull; High skills and knowledge relating to incident damage claims and incident accounting/costing techniques.<br />
<br />
&bull; A good working knowledge of the International Oil Pollution Compensation Fund and the activities of the International Association of Independent Tanker Owners (INTERTANKO) and the International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation Limited (ITOPF)<br />
<br />
&bull; Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Finance.<br />
<br />
&bull; Excellent written and spoken English.<br />
<br />
&bull; Excellent analytical skills and Report writing ability.<br />
<br />
&bull; A Certificate in International Oil Spill Claims Management.</p>
