Grab your chance and make good use of your management skills and affinity with medical devices! Align Technology is looking for a Clinical Specialist for our Benelux team. In order to grow into this role successfully, you must be eager to start your career at Align Technology by start building your knowledge level on the company, products, processes, policies and daily operational tasks - under guidance of the Clinical Support team in our Amsterdam office. This position is mainly responsible for clinical communication and support to external and internal customers. The process includes interaction and communication with private-practicing orthodontists and general dentists, and treatment coordinators related to case specific issues, ClinCheck quality and troubleshooting. Focus will be on clinical support as well as troubleshooting clinical issues for customers. In addition, other duties will include support with graphics and presentation materials for sales and clinical education materials as well as day to day needs of Universities and research programs. The role requires being comfortable when speaking in public, during internal or external training events. In this role, you will… Provide clinical customer support to orthodontists and general dentists in the areas of case evaluation, ClinCheck Digital Treatment Plan support as well as clinical troubleshooting, mid-course correction and case refinement, primarily for Benelux and English-speaking doctors. Liaison with ClinCheck technicians with regards to ClinCheck quality issues Investigation and Analysis of Clinical-related customer inquiries, complaints and adverse events. Provide training and education to the customers in any format including live presentations, online presentations and one-to-one visits to customers’ Support speaker-led trainings and support external speakers Assist with review of power point presentations, digital images and scans for marketing and/or sales materials as well as clinical education materials. Accurately and thoroughly document information in the company’s database(s) about each contact they handle following defined parameters. Ensure timely resolution to customer contact issue whether in-bound or out-bound. Be alert to trends in requests and issues reported by customers. Research information to answer inquiries from customers and share learning’s with departmental peers and management. Support key relationships with third-parties such as, universities, DSOs, and others. Participate in any other clinical or sales meeting, as needed. Field visits to customers and manage high tier customers Propose and create educational content (in conjunction with Education team) Structures and manages the execution of project/program tasks with general supervision and little guidance and recommends new approaches Contributes independently and can teach other Clinical Specialist and share experiences with other departments. Additional job responsibilities: Coordination and execution of projects Provides technical assistance to customers Follows all departmental and company procedures as indicated in quality, administrative, or other systems Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Perform other duties as assigned. In this role, you’ll need… College graduate (BA/BS) in dentistry, or related. Three to four years’ experience in customer relations or sales in medical / dental related areas Skills required: Language skills: Native or very fluent in Dutch/Flemish; Fluent in English (spoken, written, reading). French is an advantage Strong interpersonal, listening and persuasive communication skills. Dynamic, optimistic, accurate, results oriented, hard-working, creative. Ability to work without constant supervision. Dependable and attention to detail. A strong customer focused attitude. Willingness to learn. Good team player. Leadership skills. Good knowledge of basic computer operations and Microsoft Office tools. Able to flourish in young international company experiencing significant growth (i.e. roll up sleeves approach and able to deal with ambiguity). Experience working in an international call center environment, preferably on a luxury brand Willingness to rotate shifts, if needed. Physical demands & work environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Extensive computer keyboarding and mousing. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift up to 10 kg. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
