Lead Planner

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance and project services to their Lytton Refinery. <br><br> We are currently sourcing an experienced Lead Planner to join the Wood team at the Ampol Refinery based in Lytton, Brisbane - on a permanent basis. <br><br>You will be responsible for leading the Planning Team and development of Integrated Planning for maintenance activities in execution of Wood Integrated Services Contract on behalf of Ampol. <br><br>At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those holding the required permit/VISA for this region. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b><br><ul><li> Lead the team of 12 Planners and Schedulers for maintenance activities </li><li> Scheduling of all programmed maintenance </li><li> Breakdown and minor capital projects for a team of approximately 85 fitters, electricians, instrument technicians and trade assistants </li><li> Maintaining and improving on client relationships, safety culture and culture of the workforce, minor shutdown planning and various other duties </li><li> Liaising with all asset groups: Production, Execution, Projects and Engineering to minimise potential conflict between work scopes to be implemented </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Degree or diploma in Engineering or applicable trade qualification </li><li> Relevant qualifications in planning and/or estimating </li><li> 10 years' experience in planning </li><li> Ability to develop and implement management of work processes </li><li> Experience with Prometheus Scheduler an advantage </li><li> Knowledge of P6 software an advantage </li><li> Advanced user experience in SAP PM highly regarded </li><li> Good understanding of project management principles and techniques </li></ul><br> If you're an experienced Lead Planner, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
