Wells Civils Team Leader

Role Synopsis    <br> •    To plan, direct, schedule, coordinate and budget a wide range of well pad construction/remediation projects for Wells<br> •    To promote the safety and health of the workforce<br> •    To develop a culture that emphasizes safety, quality, continuous improvement, and high performance<br> •    To provide subject matter expertise and assist other Wells team members in planning and site preparation activities<br> <br> Key Accountabilities    <br> Tender evaluation <br> •    Assist Procurement with tender evaluations (technical and commercial elements)<br> •    Answer technical queries that may arise through the tender process<br> Determination of appropriate construction methods.<br> •    Evaluation of Statements of Requirement (SoR) to determine appropriate construction methods and the most cost-effective plan and schedule. <br> Review and approval of contractor submitted engineering drawings.<br> •    Assess the technical aspects of engineered drawings to ensure alignment with the project deliverables and Scope of Work. <br> •    Review drawings in terms of cost and programme implications<br> Management of the technical elements of construction<br> •    Distribution and coordinated answering of RFI queries raised by contractors<br> •    On-site acceptance and testing to meet all requirements<br> •    Manage specialists and consultants who will be responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and general deliverables<br> •    Distribute minutes of progress meetings for information<br> •    Hold on-site meetings to discuss any variations, utilise SWA(Stop Work Authority) as and when required<br> Delivery of projects on time, on budget and safely<br> •    Check and verify the proposed plan, request, allocate and prioritise resources to best represent the work scope<br> •    Manage and co-ordinate the required resources and supervise contractors<br> •    Introduce and maintain HSE as the number one priority across all disciplines and activities<br> •    Conduct weekly team meetings and encourage communication , make time to listen to team members and any concerns or suggestions they may have. Feed through information on issues which may affect personnel.<br> •    Support professional development of personnel<br> •    Foster an atmosphere of teamwork and enjoyment of work<br> •    Make considered or urgent decisions when required<br> Report status to Line Manager<br> •    Keep line management informed of progress and issues through daily/weekly meetings and reporting.
