Completions Commissioning Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for Completions Engineer to strengthen our team. This is B2B position on a 4/4 rotation in Iraq, with initial period being in Dubai. <br><br><ul><li> Management and direction of completions personnel in the safe and structured delivery of the completions process </li><li> Provision of support and training to completions personnel, ensuring personnel are competent and possess the required skills and tools </li><li> Development, issue and updating of all applicable completions' procedures / working practices required for the delivery of the completions process </li><li> Co-ordination of the completions management database, ensuring data integrity is maintained to the highest standard </li><li> Ensuring mechanical completion data, documentation and handovers are in accordance with agreed project procedures and schedules and to the required standard </li><li> Liaison with Construction and Commissioning Teams in the development of project handover strategy and sequence </li><li> Liaising with Commissioning personnel to identify and deliver early pre-commissioning / commissioning gains </li><li> Ensure all applicable site / project safety procedures are fully and properly implemented throughout the completions phase. Liaise with the project Safety Representative to ensure that all staff have been trained in their use </li><li> Liaise with client representatives to ensure, where applicable, required completions data / services are supplied </li><li> Interface with Project Management and Client Representatives on all matters applicable to completions, providing accurate reporting on status including identification of issues or concerns, which may impact project delivery </li><li> Completion of regular audits / reviews ensuring compliance with project procedures and standards </li><li> Management and review of change control associated with the completions process </li><li> Organise Completions office and IT requirements in conjunction with IT and Site Facilities Groups </li><li> Attending TRM sessions to provide completions expertise into the process </li><li> Provide input in budget management and cost control </li><li> Provide input into the tender process </li><li> Provide input into planning process ensuring the completions function is correctly represented within the integrated project plan </li><li> Provide support to the project audit process </li><li> Liaise with HR in all matters concerning with employment of completions personnel including where applicable involvement in disciplinary related issues </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>Qualifications:</b> <br><br><ul><li> HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering related background </li><li> Recognised O&G discipline background </li><li> Fully conversant with Project Management Systems with extensive knowledge of Project Hook Up / Construction / Commissioning practices and procedure </li><li> IT Literate (Excel / Word / PowerPoint etc) with experience in JMS </li><li> Degree educated </li><li> Conversant with TRM process </li><li> Conversant with project tender / estimating process </li><li> BOSIET / Medical (for offshore) </li></ul><br><br><b>Knowledge, Skills and Experien</b> <b>ce:</b> <br><ul><li> Demonstrable experience in similar role or Senior position in Project Hook Ups </li><li> Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving project goals whilst maintain high standards in HSEQ at all times </li><li> Extensive knowledge of the construction process, its implementation and management.
