Job Description The Role : The DCS and SCADA Service Engineer is responsible for implementation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of PCS7 based Control Systems, Emergency shutdown system, Fire Alarm system, TIA Portal, WinCC SCADA Systems and SIMATIC PLC Systems for a variety of industrial control system applications predominantly in the Water Industry, Petrochemicals and Oil & Gas sectors. Your Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable university Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Siemens PLC, ESD and SCADA design programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Hands on experience in PCS7, ESD and Fire alarm Systems, including system virtualization and domain server configurations. Good working knowledge of Siemens fail safe system including Safety Matrix, H-System CPUs, and logic Matrix. Technical experience on Terminal Management system (TMS) implemented in Saudi Aramco bulk plants. Hands on experience on Modbus (TCP/IP and Serial), DNP3 and OPC interface. Good knowledge of PCS 7 telecontrol including DBA configuration and on-site troubleshooting. Siemens Control Servers configuration including Server client architecture, Cyber security implementation and system hardening. Hands-on experience on Switch Hardening including port configuration, V-LAN setting and user authorization. Annual preventive maintenance process and technical report writing. Familiar with Saudi Aramco annual cyber security Audit requirements and customer expectations. Good client facing skills, must be able to work as part of combined client/contractor team. In depth knowledge of Petrochemical processes, and Oil & Gas processes (offshore experience will be given preference). Willingness to travel and work away when required (60% Travelling is required) Organized and can work independently or in collaboration with a global team Your Responsibilities Development, modification and troubleshooting of Siemens control system. PCS7, WinCC and STEP 7 programming of control systems Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation and configuration, and documentation Installation and configuration/testing work at customer sites Preferred Knowledge/Skills and Experience : IEC61131 PLC Coding Standards. IEC61508 Safety System Ability to develop PCS7 and PLC programs based on reading schematics and interpreting customer specifications Ability to troubleshoot control loops and software program. Network architecture design Industrial instrumentation selection, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience of working in both Water and Oil & Gas industries.
