In the Netherlands, Siemens Energy BV, Heat Transfer Technology (HTT) is a reputable OEM Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) supplier. We have provided HRSG behind many gas turbines. We offer a wide variety of HRSG designs in order to be able to meet Customer requirements all over the world, focusing on the lowest total installed and/or operational costs. For our logistics department at our head office in Zoeterwoude, we are looking for an Logistics Coordinator. The logistic Coordinator is involved in all our logistic related activities for our projects worldwide. In this role you will report directly to the director of procurement and logistics. A Snapshot of Your Day As Logistics Coordinator you are responsible for end-to-end logistic process such as Break bulk (oversized loads), Containers, air freight and inland transportation for mainly heat recovery steam generator and associated equipment manufactured all over the world. The candidate will be in charge to ensure on time and on budget deliveries to customers. High degree of collaboration, communication with project teams, the procurement and Export Control and Customs colleagues are key elements for this dynamic role. How You’ll Make an Impact Prepare / review related documents required for the logistics operation, such as BOL, invoices, customs documents, certificates, and interact with related stakeholders e.g. project teams, procurement and Export Control and Customs colleagues to address operations issues; Timely process information into our customer’s systems and keep the process running until shipment; Act as the interface to external logistics / transport providers / customers to ensure flawless operations and coordinate their activities aiming cost efficient and on time delivery; Calculate and implement logistics / transport contingency measures from the planned and future deliveries; Document and process claims or transport damages with responsible partners to secure any recourse claims and to take further preventive measures; What You Bring Basic knowledge of logistic (import – export) documentation packages; Basic knowledge of incoterms; Excellent time-management and strong administrative skills; You are able to communicate and cooperate with different cultures and have a good working knowledge of English and Dutch, both written as well as verbal; Considering that we work in a project organization, it is important that your work is transparent for your colleagues and that you carefully align your work with the project execution team. We have multiple projects running in parallel, so you should be able to handle time pressure, act quickly, maintain the overview and structure, and set correct priorities; Bachelor (HBO) level by working experience or education; Bonus Points Experience with SAP / ERP software; Financial and analytical capabilities e.g. monitoring freight budgets vs. freight costs; Rewards Extended network connections interacting with Siemens Energy Logistics for process improvement, cost savings initiatives and best practices knowledge sharing; Healthy balance between working from home and in the office; We run on inclusion and compassion.
