This position is accountable for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing customer equipment. FSR Tech will maintain, retrofit, and provide technical support for all Schneider products, both in the shop and on site. Work on competitive equipment may also be part of the role. FSR Technician will share and provide technical instruction to other less experienced subcontractors. He will perform warranty and recall work. Test circuits and equipment utilizing various tools and machines such as computers, software, workstations, circuit diagram, etc. Analyze malfunctions in equipment and interpret maintenance manuals, using knowledge of systems and electronics to isolate and correct issues. FSR must be available to: respond to emergency calls and for intervention, maintain service equipment, tools and documentation, and identify sales opportunities. Any intervention will have to be prepared and performed in total respect of safety guidelines (prevention plan, protection equipment …) Activities or Areas qComply with Safety and cyber security policies, practices and procedures qPerform Startup/Commissioning on Schneider Electric product & possible competition equipment. qPerform Preventive, scheduled and unscheduled Maintenance on equipment qAnalyze and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, different problems on our equipment and provide appropriated answer qAnalyze and explain reports results to customers and management qCertification & accreditation could be required vs Business and Country regulations. qProactive participation to team collective initiatives & management meetings to achieve departmental and company goals (SIM1) qUnderstand scope of work, respect time allocation to perform job and ensure full traceability (timesheet, change order etc..) qSupport planners, coordinators, project manager to get good customer site condition understanding qEscalate quality or technical issue detected on field qUnderstand Ecostruxure offer and provide technical explanation to customers qUse all digital tools designed for SE FSR qTrack Installed Base (serviceable assets) qAdvise customers on different opportunities to optimize its install base and create lead generation business opportunities qPerform basic audits of customer’s electrical systems and equipment (MPS walktrough) qPerform Field Services Operations by providing best in class customer experience and promote Schneider signature qLead groups of people (other technicians) in order to accomplish technical and safety requirements Qualifications This job might be for you if: qStrong Customer orientation mindset q Technical knowledge on Schneider Electric Products and Serviceable Assets q Technical knowledge and experienced on Electrical variables and quality indicators, electrical diagnosis, electrical performance test, troubleshooting, predictive and preventive maintenance, electrical Norms and Standards qNetwork and PLC skills desirable qWillingness to learn new competencies (Technical, Digital, soft skills…) qCollaborative attitude with internal entities (Planners, Inside Sales, Technical Support…) qUse all digital tools designed for SE FSR qLeadership attitude and teamwork qOffice Competencies Excel, Word, Power Point Education and Other Required qAssociate electrical/electromechanical technical degree with at least 2-3years of related experience q2 or more years equivalent experience in a related field, or equivalent combinations of education and experience qThe job requires to stand, walk for extended periods of time + to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds qB1 driver licence q English as second language (basic to intermediate degree) We seek out and reward people for putting the customer first, being disruptive to the status quo, embracing different perspectives, continuously learning, and acting like owners.
