Mechanical Technician

Organization: Siemens Energy Location: Ankara / Turkey For our SE G SV group for new company “Siemens Energy”, we are looking for a Mechanical Technician who will be reporting to FS Manager. What are the responsibilities? Safety: • Following the site specific EHS rules, state regulations and company policies. • Defining the EHS risks and taking required actions for to prevent any accident that may occur. • Reporting EHS incidents, near misses, un-safe conditions immediately to the responsible EHS officer and responsible Plant Supervisor and Plant EHS officer. • Always use required PPE’s while being at site. On Site Activities: • Attend to the outages as Mechanical Technician on Siemens 8000H, 4000F and 2000E type Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Generators which are new installed and/or after the periodical inspections. • CCBT- Combustion Chamber Tile Specialist certification is a plus. • The scope of work needs to be suited to the specific power plant and the requirements of the Customer in alignment with Project Manager at the beginning of assignment. • Provide optimum service support for customers through phone, personal visits, etc. • Perform service activities according to company policies and safety standards. • Develop documentations for service related issues and resolutions. • Provide assistance to respective shift/site lead. • Investigate and troubleshoot product service issues. • Identify problems and record solutions for reference purposes. • Attend ongoing training events sponsored by company or machine manufacturers to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and repair options. • Be dynamic, proactive, and shortened certification periods • Address customer inquiries in a timely manner. • Coordinate with various teams to fix product issues. • Inform management on product service issues as observed through interaction with clients. • In case advised by FS Manager support FS Management in defining, guiding, and optimizing field service processes. • In case advised by FS manager to support Tool Center with tooling inventory and process requirements • Prepare and archive Field Service reports after every site work within specified time line. • Acting as ambassador of Siemens Energy towards customers and team members What do you need to qualify for this job? • Technical High School Graduate • At least 2 years of experience in Gas Turbine Technology • Good command of English or open to learn English to reach good command of English in 2 years • Advanced level of knowledge on MS office programs • Good team ability and collaboration with international partners is preferred.
