MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Local connection will be preferred.</b> <br><br> <b>Responsibilities: </b> <ul><li> Steel structure and piping engineering, drawings, and documentation of existing and new development. </li><li> Technical support through procurement, fabrication, assembly, and test. </li><li> You will be a part of the project organization, reporting to both Engineering Lead for the specific project package, and Department Manager. </li><li> Secure quality delivery according to relevant OneSubsea guidelines and project specific rules and regulations. </li></ul><br> <b>Job Qualifications </b> <ul><li> MSc - or BSc degree within Mechanical Engineering, Marine technology, Subsea system etc. </li><li> Preferably relevant experience within Subsea industry, process equipment and/or Mechanical engineering. </li><li> Good computer skills, especially 3D construction is preferred. </li><li> Knowledge of relevant international standards as NORSOK, API, ASME etc. </li><li> Technical insight and knowledge within Subsea industry. </li><li> Solution oriented with good communication skills. </li><li> Practical and analytic approach in projects. </li><li> Good communication skills written and vocal in both English and Norwegian. </li></ul><br><br><b>Minimum Job Qualifications</b><br> <b>Job qualifications:</b><ul><li>MSc - or BSc degree within Metallurgy or Materials Engineering </li><li>Preferably 3 years of relevant experience within Subsea industry or oil and gas industry</li><li>Good academic results can make up for a lack of relevant experience. We therefore also encourage newly graduates to apply</li><li>Good communication skills written and vocal in both English and Norwegian</li><li>Good computer skills</li><li>Technical insight and knowledge within Subsea industry.</li><li>Practical and analytic approach in projects.</li></ul> <br><b>Nice to have:</b><ul><li>Background in welding (IWE)</li><li>Knowledge of SAP and/or Team Center.</li><li>Background in analysis and calculation</li><li>Experience with ANSYS</li><li>Knowledge of relevant international standards as NORSOK, API, ASME etc.</li><li>Knowledge of NDE </li></ul> <br><b>Personal skills</b><br>You are a person with good communication skills and a proactive mindset.
