Responsibilities About this Job Project Material Coordinator plans all materials for Spirit Airlines Supply Chain projects to include new aircraft and leasing and Maintenance projects. This would include provisioning of materials, coordinating and scheduling delivery to ensure seamless material support to our Maintenance and Engineering Departments, as well as Lease and finance teams. Carry out material planning activities working directly with various internal departments as well as suppliers. Issue Purchase, Exchange and Repair orders as needed Follow up on open orders and expedite as needed. Maintain accurate and up to date material data in computer system including TRAX and project reports. Track shipments to ensure on time deliveries Participates in scheduled conference calls and meetings representing Supply Chain. Communicate with Maintenance Planning to confirm schedules and MRO locations. Communicate with Accounts Payables regarding invoice discrepancies and payments. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g. emergencies, change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.) Qualifications College degree preferred 1 year experience in material management or 2 years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance and/or flight operations/logistics field. Ability to work independently with little supervision Ability to handle multiple time sensitive tasks and perform in stressful environment Able to lift up to 50lbs Proficient in MS Excel (Basic) Experience in Distribution process. Experience in Aviation inventory and supply, in the role of purchasing, procurement, repairs or stock room/logistics. *Please be advised that you will be asked to complete a required assessment to be considered for this position.
