<b>Take ownership for delivering complex projects </b><br />
<br />
As a Graduate Operations Engineer, you will be expected to perform to the competence requirements listed below with respect to the design /development of Oilfield Sub Surface Components, Systems, or Controls.<br />
<br />
You will also be responsible for mentoring and training less experienced designers on the following:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Supporting integrated service lead with controls request through the workshop.</li>
<li>Providing technical and service support to the workshop during scope execution.</li>
<li>Attending customer meetings providing feedback on scopes of work with the project team.</li>
<li>Creating work packs for delegation, review detail drawings, test procedures and spares.</li>
<li>Creating Layouts, Specify functional components, evaluate stackups, support manufacturing, undertake basic calculations.</li>
<li>Interpreting customer engineering specifications to produce scopes of work, layouts, detail and assembly designs.</li>
<li>Developing conceptual design requirements and layouts for review following company design process management (DPM) protocols.</li>
<li>Developing general design specifications for interpretation by other engineers and designers.</li>
<li>Retrieving and submiting data in PDM link software following company protocols.</li>
<li>Supporting detail designs for manufacture and participate and create material for design reviews including materials and environmental reviews using relevant software to prepare general drawings.</li>
<li>Creating Bill of Materials (BOM) in documentation system, for approval by Engineers.</li>
<li>Undertaking design verification, which may include but not limited to: Tolerance studies, design reliability, design for manufacture, simple failure analysis, design reviews, simple calculations for basic design Verification purposes.</li>
<li>Identifing improvements in existing products, procedures and processes and develop cost effective solutions to satisfy specifications.</li>
<li>Creating/Reviewing basic factory acceptance (FAT) procedures, prototype Test Procedures and document results (PVT) for approval by Engineers.</li>
<li>Interpreting basic pressure vessel and structural engineering calculations for design layout purposes.</li>
<li>Ensuring all design activities and documents are correctly archived in electronic document management system.</li>
<li>Understanding and applying design for manufacture principles to ensure designs are suitable and allow for efficient manufacture and assembly.</li>
<li>Being capable to conduct hands on support to enable learning growth.</li>
<li>Willing to travel onshore and offshore to complete scopes of work.</li>
</ul>
