SMC Engineer

<p><b>POSITION: SCM Engineer</b><br />

Location: Turkey<br />

Duration: Permanent<br />
<br />
<b>Duties:</b><br />
<br />
-Manage &amp; action the procurement of goods &amp; services<br />
<br />
-Subcontracts Management, especially for fabrication packages<br />
<br />
-Familiarity with bidding and Contracting Principles, Subcontracting principles and deviation process<br />
<br />
-Manage the defined elements of the supply chain process as delegated<br />
<br />
-Work within cross-functional teams to work with vendors on cost improvement and to create better value delivery<br />
<br />
-Support contractual negotiations with Suppliers on tenders and projects<br />
<br />
-Contribute to the selection, management and monitoring of vendors<br />
<br />
-Participate in the evaluation of the vendors and their proposals (bid comparisons)<br />
<br />
-Maintain contact with Vendors, including audit visits, during the entire process ensuring adherence to quality and deadlines<br />
<br />
-Maintain and produce appropriate reports and logs for all relevant internal parties<br />
<br />
-Draft and negotiate legal and contractual documents to support the supply chain strategies and partnerships with suppliers<br />
<br />
-Change management: applying change management principles and procedures for preventing and controlling changes by Suppliers<br />
<br />
-Contract obligations: meeting contract requirements for ensuring all subcontracts and purchase orders obligations are met<br />
<br />
-Bidding, contracting and subcontracting: uphold bidding and contracting principles, subcontracting principles and associated deviation processes<br />
<br />
-Preparation of subcontracts, frame agreements and purchase orders documents<br />
<br />
-Contracts and Documentation: preparation of contracts including NDA&
39;s, Main Contract Flowdowns, Frame Agreements etc.<br />
<br />
-Project correspondence; preparation of formal correspondence to subcontractors/suppliers<br />
<br />
-Proactively support internal clients such as In-country structure, Operation team, Engineering Team, Project team, etc.<br />
<br />
<b>PROFILE:</b><br />
<br />
-Bachelor&
39;s Degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical or civil/industrial).<br />
<br />
-At least 3 years of experience as Supply Chain Engineer in a similar industry or in big constructions projects (both in Turkey and internationally)<br />
<br />
-Strong organizational and time management skills.<br />
<br />
-Must be flexible (fast-track project), open to changing priorities and reliable (shall comply with our Bribery and Corruption rules)<br />
