Junior Buyer- Stavanger, Norway

My client, a leading Subsea EPCI consultancy, is currently looking for a junior buyer to join their procurement function. This will be initially for a 12-month contract, however this is highly likely to be a renewable contract or a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the procurement team in a fast-paced environment, and so this job would be perfect for any individual who enjoys working in a busy and energetic atmosphere, as well as someone seeking a long-term role with a key player in the offshore sector.

Could this be your next role?

Responsibilities:

Take part in Procurement activities during holiday time.

Play a vital role in the planning of procurement activities.

Responsibility for liaising with logistics specialists (for example, taking note of when goods are received)

Be responsible for the creation of purchase requisitions.

Experience:

1+ years in a similar function, or a keen desire to become a supply chain, buying or procurement specialist.

Experience using SAP would be advantageous but would not exclude you from this role.

English fluency is essential, Norwegian would be a benefit.
