Lead Process Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful applicant will be part of a busy project team delivering offshore Oil & Gas projects for our clients. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b><br><ul><li> Lead a high performing process engineering team delivering across a project portfolio, providing mentorship on individual performance and career development </li><li> Liaising with the BD team to develop engineering estimates, provide proposal scope definition and project schedule input </li><li> Provides regular progress updates across a portfolio of projects which report into multiple project delivery focal points </li><li> Process engineering services to the client, ranging from conceptual, front-end, detailed design and close-out activities for the timely delivery of project deliverables. </li><li> Completes a variety of complex process engineering studies, philosophies, computations, calculations, HYSYS and UniSim simulation (steady & dynamic) modelling, P&ID's, PFD's, heat and material balances, etc </li><li> Participates in all hazard identification, technical safety and risk workshop reviews </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Degree in Chemical Engineering </li><li> Chartered Professional Engineer with over 15 years' experience </li><li> Excellent team management skills in a challenging work environment </li><li> Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential </li><li> Must have experience working with high value engineering centres </li><li> Prior lead engineering experience on offshore O&G projects essential </li><li> Able to apply the theories, codes and standards relevant to the O&G industry </li><li> Prior experience in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL/LOPA, MAE workshops </li><li> Prior experience with HYSYS and UniSim </li></ul><br> Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role. <br><br>If you're a Lead Process Engineer, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
