Lead Civil / Structural Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Lead Civil / Structural Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful applicant will be part of a busy project team delivering Oil & Gas projects for our clients. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b> <br><ul><li> Lead a high performing civil / structural engineering team delivering across a project portfolio, providing mentorship on individual performance and career development </li><li> Liaising with the BD team to develop engineering estimates, provide proposal scope definition and project schedule input </li><li> Provides regular progress updates across a portfolio of projects which report into multiple project delivery focal points </li><li> Provide technical guidance to discipline staff involved in the delivery of an assignment </li><li> Provides discipline subject matter expertise to the wider business </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Chartered Professional Engineer with over 15 years' experience </li><li> Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas production industry experience essential </li><li> Excellent team management skills in a challenging work environment </li><li> Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential </li><li> Experience in both civil and structural disciplines would be highly regarded </li><li> Must have experience working with high value engineering centres </li><li> Civil Experience: Design and detailing civil works for facility earthworks, foundations, roads and drainage, and flood/overland flow analysis </li><li> Structural Experience: Design of primary and secondary steelwork structures as well as concrete structures </li><li> Must have experience in leading team of engineering staff, project controls and reporting for large scale projects </li></ul><br> Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role. <br><br>If you're an experienced Lead Civil / Structural Engineer, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
