Senior Project Planner

We are on the lookout for a Senior Project Planner with expert knowledge using Primavera and possesses international Oil & Gas experience. This is a permanent opportunity based in our clients office just outside of Oslo, and you will be instrumental in delivering key Onshore & Offshore projects alongside the Project Management team.<br><br>Ideally we require an individual with knowledge of Topside EPC projects and is very experienced in establishing schedules for tenders & project execution.<br><br>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:<br><ul><li>Assist project manager with project start-up activities and mobilization.</li><li>Review the contract, clarify the scope, and take all requirements into account for planning, executing, control, and closeout of the project</li><li>Preparation of WBS and MDL in cooperation with project team</li><li>Establish project schedule with relevant activity relationships according to project requirement, and in in compliance with Project Execution Model</li><li>Ensure alignment between MDL, WBS, and project schedule and maintain MDL and Schedule updated</li><li>Upload resource as per project budget and develop manpower histograms and s-curves</li><li>Collect validated required info from project engineering, procurement and construction managers</li><li>Update project schedule and keep project manager advised of project schedule</li><li>Monitor & control project activities as per baseline and highlight major deviations to project team</li></ul>WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:<br><ul><li>Independent in execution of responsibilities</li><li>Expert in using Excel and Primavera as the main Planning tools</li><li>Planning Experience from working internationally within Oil & Gas industries</li><li>Fluent in English (speaking and written) & Good communication skills</li></ul><br /><br />With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
