Senior Controls & Instrumentation Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood has an immediate opening for a Senior Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. This role is offered on a permanent staff basis and reports to the Operations Manager - Integrity Management. <br><br>This role has come about due to continued success and organisational growth. On joining the team you will be an active member of a collaborative, dynamic and technically skilled group. This is a sensational opportunity for a qualified engineer with a keen interest in Integrity Management to continue to develop their professional and technical skills, gain hands on experience and make an impact from day one within a supportive team. <br><br>As our successful candidate you will quickly be involved in providing consulting and engineering solutions, understanding the issues of key clients and responding by delivering improved outcomes while balancing integrity, performance and cost. <br><br>The successful candidate will quickly be involved in a variety of tasks such as: <br><ul><li> Development of client proposals and scopes of work </li><li> Consulting on Asset Management with specific focus on Safety Integrity Levels for safety instrumented systems </li><li> Development of maintenance strategies using a reliability centred maintenance approach </li><li> Development and Update of work instructions and work-packs for Critical Function testing </li><li> Evaluation of asset information to determine hazards, failure modes and risk mitigations (RCM) </li><li> Assessment of failure mode and damage mechanisms of field devices in oil and gas industries </li><li> Utilise spreadsheet and database tools to capture and handle data, identify trends and equipment health concerns </li><li> KPI reporting and performance metric development for system integrity </li><li> Business development activities, with the aim to grow local Controls and Instrumentation integrity discipline offering. </li><li> Setup and configuration of Integrity Management Database Systems </li><li> Development of client reports to communicate results and recommendations </li><li> Ownership of small projects, managing from start to finish following Wood's Quality Management System </li></ul><br> At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those who hold Permanent Residency (PR). <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>At Wood it takes a diverse range of people to achieve the level of impact we are having on the global energy sector.
