Multi Discipline Designer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruting for a Multi-Discipline Designer to work in our Basel office in Switzerland to support a number of projects in the pharmaceutical engineering sector. The successful candidate will be available to work on Client premises and on site, when required. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b> <br><ul><li> Execution of design activities required for all disciplines including HVAC, piping, cleanroom etc. </li><li> The activities will be addressed, starting from the Diagrams, to define the size and the routing of the equipment, piping and devices </li><li> Most of design will be done in 2D & 3D environment </li><li> Execution of the Material take off activities </li><li> Execution of all drawings required by the various disciplines </li><li> Check and approval of drawings and documents submitted by contractors </li><li> Following the BIM Collaboration Procedures </li><li> Coordinating the data modelling and management process </li><li> Recording and monitoring the shared data and relationships between models, e.g. grids, floor levels and shared project coordinates </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Knowledge of main international CAD software like AutoCAD, MICROSTATION, BIM and 3D tools like REVIT </li><li> Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in the role in engineering companies in pharma sector </li><li> Self - motivation, a proactive outlook and good communication skills </li><li> Ability to deal with other disciplines </li><li> Mother tongue / Fluent in German is a mandatory requirement </li><li> Fluent in English </li><li> Eligible to work in Switzerland </li><li> German speaker is mandatory </li><li> 5-10 years experiences in pharma fields </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
