In this role you'll support the management and development of Cancer Research UK's 3rd Party Sports portfolio, working closely and collaboratively with key teams across the organisation and externally. You will lead on the in-year strategy for the 3rd Party Sports Product; planning, developing and implementing operational plans for the Product, as well as any improvements developed by the team, to help Cancer Research UK meet its fundraising contribution targets.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>What will I be doing? </strong></p><p>Make an impact every day by…</p><ul><li><p>Developing the in-year product strategy for 3rd Party Sports portfolio; working closely with the Senior Product Manager and Head of Product to meet financial targets set.</p></li><li><p>Overseeing the delivery of the agreed in-year strategies, working collaboratively with key teams across the organisation &amp; 3rd party sporting relationships</p></li><li><p>Making informed decisions and co-creating business cases on investment and resourcing required to meet contribution targets </p></li><li><p>Working with the Senior Programme Manager to manage the prioritisation and workflow of of activity and to ensure that our products operate in a way that meets audience needs both externally and internally. </p></li><li><p>Line managing, leading, and developing an inclusive and high functioning team of account managers.</p></li><li><p>Ensuring equality and diversity is celebrated and considered as part of all decisions taken.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p>In this role, you'll support on the planning, development and oversee the collaborative delivery of the agreed F&amp;M product area strategy, vision, and activity, acting as product champion across the organisation. You will be responsible for fully loaded product Profit and Loss (P&amp;L) whilst line-managing a team of four.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What skills are you looking for?</strong></p><p>You'll be able to bring to the role…</p><ul><li><p>Significant experience of internal and external stakeholder engagement and management skills.</p></li><li><p>A strong understanding and passion for the sports mass participation market.</p></li><li><p>Relevant experience of budget management, P&amp;L management and team management.</p></li><li><p>Ability to identify new opportunities and developing business cases</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to work well under pressure, with demonstrable strategic/innovative thinking /translating insight in to action skills</p></li><li><p>Problem solving skills with an ability to overcome issues, propose solutions and make sound commercial decisions.</p></li><li>A flexible approach, to comfortably manage ambiguity and changing environments/contexts</li></ul><ul><li><p>Excellent communication and relationship building skills.</p></li><li><p>Willing to work some unsociable hours, travelling extensively and staying away from home during the event delivery season when necessary.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What will I gain?</strong></p><p>Without you we wouldn't be able to achieve our aim of seeing 3 in 4 people survive cancer by 2034.
