<p>SENIOR SUBSEA ENGINEER</p>
<p>Service dimension / Missions<br />
1. Direct reports: No reports.<br />
2. Contracts management: LOF/DSA contracts.<br />
3. Budget Accountability: None.<br />
4. Value impact: Leading role for technical aspects for Pre-Project, Project, and Contracts & Procurements (C&P).<br />
• This role will search for technical information within WTL to aid pre-project deliverables.<br />
• File, share, and organize project information in a meaningful way for future and operational use.<br />
• Develop or contribute to rig- or vessel-based well programs or procedures.<br />
• Flag procurement needs and oversee the purchasing process to a completion.<br />
• Engage existing engineering and operational teams to efficiently deploy the change from legacy to standard XTs in the<br />
affiliate.<br />
• Oversee all onshore integration and preparation of subsea wells equipment.<br />
• Provide technical and operational support to the offshore crew during the execution of the project (on rig and vessel).<br />
• Ownership of identifying synergies across legacy and standard XTs tools and equipment.<br />

g. Internally: Subsea Superintendents, Senior & Lead Engineers, Head of Service, EWR focal point of contact, DT/PCP, Contracts<br />
& Procurement, ADP, PBF, TADM, and Site Superintendant (LOF).<br />
h. Externally: Drilling & Wells Customer line (OneTech), TEPWR Product line (OneTech), and Services Providers (TechnipFMC and<br />
Akersolutions if applicable).</p>

8. Comply with statutory laws in Angola and relevant International Standards (where applicable).<br />
9. Control and administration of delegated scopes within the LOF/DSA contract for the delivery of projects.<br />
10. You will be required to (a) deliver optimal contract & service performance, (b) keeping accurate records of transactions, (c) foster better<br />
relationships within WTL, PBF and LOF/DSA Contractors.<br />
11. Lead and coordinate regular technical meetings with PBF, PCP wrt aspects relating to Subsea topics, and other technical units at HQ.<br />
12. Prepare and follow the project and budgetary plan.<br />
13. Submit monthly closure forecasts and explanations for the performance of the realized expenditure against planned budgets.<br />
14. Prepare engineering scopes for well construction activities i.e., maintenance and availability of tools and equipment, operational<br />
programs, reviews (for HAZID/HAZOPs, DIP, SIP, Well-on-Paper exercises etc), reporting, and rig/FPSO SIMOPS requirements.<br />
15. Ensure risks are assessed and mitigated in operational and contractual matters. Where applicable, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)<br />
and submit A3 / close out reports for incidents.<br />
16. Manage all aspects of Emergency Well Response (EWR) relating to the projects.<br />
17. Prepare and participate in contractor audits - HSE, SCM, and SQM activities and propose ways of continually minimizing costs,<br />
maintaining quality, and improving performance during the project.<br />
18. Log lessons learned arising from activities in multiblock contracts and rig operations, apply continual improvements, and support HoS<br />
with strategy and engineering choices for procurements / Call for Tender needs.<br />
19. Maintain good technical interface with other entities - HQ, HSE, PBF, Drilling, Well Integrity Group, and GSR for business and<br />
operational requirements.<br />
20. Accountable for subsea wells derogations at project phase and keep records of all deviations to clients&
39; Drilling & Wells company<br />
rules, Guides & Manuals and international standards for well activities.<br />
• Prepare and publish SIM documents, memos, and process workflows for the activities under its responsibility.<br />
Context and environment<br />
• Deepwater environment with water depths of 600m - 2000m<br />
• Over 300 subsea wells across two blocks, and the need to adopt standard XTs for future developments.<br />
• Eight (8) Blocks under the Affiliate&
39;s management - Block 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 29, 32 and 48 with 2 Blocks in operation (Block 17 & 32).<br />
• Six (6) FPSO since 2018 (one additional FPSO from 2025 for Block 20/21).<br />
• Three (3) drilling rigs anticipated on Block 17 and 32 and the possibility of additional rigs in the future.<br />
• Large scope / scale of work, considerable expenditures, and high probability of impacting on savings / value through optimizations and<br />
new ways of doing business.<br />

• Achieve optimal budget and contract performance.<br />
• Ensure that the project is under budget, project requirements are delivered correctly and on-time, and operational excellence is<br />
achieved with zero NPT and clear deployment of technological change to standard XTs.<br />
• Mapping, reporting and documentation of a project process for DT/SUB/WTL.</p>
<p>Qualifications/Experience required<br />
• Engineering background, with operational experience in subsea wells discipline, and knowledge of managing contracts.<br />
• Possession of all well control certification is a must i.e., IWCF level 4<br />
• Understanding of the administrative requirements for budgeting, accounting, and cost & work performance.<br />
• Great team spirit and ability to work in a diverse team of professionals.<br />
• Individual must be adaptable and proactive, with a methodical mindset.<br />
• Must be able to coach or drive others towards delivering expected outcomes through clear explanation and persistent communication<br />
of benefits and the importance of deliverables.<br />
• Computer skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications.<br />
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), and ability to speak French and/or Portuguese is a plus.</p>
