The Role: Associate, Corporate Ratings You will be a critical member to the Corporates Ratings Team. You are responsible for analyzing individual company’s financial performance, competitive industry position and quality of management for analytical purposes. This analysis also includes sectors and market trends. The Location: Melbourne Grade Level: G11 (For Internal Reference Only) The Impact: You will effectively contribute to the preparation of fundamental industry and company-specific analysis, rating committee presentations, portfolio reviews, commentaries and other research. The Team / The Business: You will be part of a global and multicultural team. Your skills: Bachelor degree is required. You have in-depth knowledge of the financial and corporate industries. You will play a key role within the Analytical team assisting resolving client’s needs and assess client’s financial performance, projections and business plan.” Responsibilities: In support of the teams’ senior analysts, you will: Undertake fundamental industry and company-specific analysis across multiple industry sectors, with a focus on ASX top 100 companies Develop and update excel financial models for individual companies and industry data sets. Assist in the preparation of presentations for internal and external communications Participate in client meetings, including with C-Suite level management. Conduct research, including identifying data, data input, and statistical analysis of results Requirements: Bachelor degree in commerce, finance, accounting or related subjects Pursuing CPA or CFA designation will be ideal 3-6 years of research or analytical experience with other financial institutions Strong Excel and analytical skills to collate and analyze a wide range of information Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Good organization skills and very high attention to detail Good time management and prioritization; and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
