Engineering Manager

Job Summary Amentum is seeking an Engineering Manager responsible to lead a team of technical professionals in the delivery of independent selection, evaluation, and application of relevant engineering knowledge, techniques and procedures in support of the safe and effective operation, maintenance and management of facility assets, infrastructure and systems in Alice Springs, Australia. You will be accountable for the leadership, management, coordination and oversight of approximately 20 personnel, this includes the planning, organization, coordination, development, training, mentoring, and resource and performance management relevant to the service delivery of the Engineering group. Responsibilities/Duties Lead and manage a team of technical professionals Plan, schedule and coordinate the identification, definition and development of detailed requirements for facility infrastructure, equipment and system modification, replacement, upgrade and/or recapitalization Manage the design and/or development of solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate to extreme scope and complexity across engineering disciplines Plan, coordinate and resource the provision of technical advice on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems, from general concepts through to detailed IFC designs Lead and oversee the development, implementation and improvement of appropriate and effective systems and processes in support of technical engineering service delivery Facilitate technical recommendations, input, direction and advice on facilities system, infrastructure and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance, life-cycle management and costing Facilitate the development of ROM costing estimates in support of facility infrastructure, equipment and system modification, upgrade, replacement and/or recapitalization Facilitate the evaluation of operational systems, equipment, processes and infrastructure in support of general and targeted optimization and improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirements Any other reasonable duties as requested Minimum Requirements Undergraduate Degree - Field: Engineering or other relevant or related discipline Driver's license Leadership and management in a similar or related work environment Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain a TS SCI with poly or an Australian citizen and possess or be able to obtain a TSPV Preferred Qualifications Post Graduate Qualifications - Field: Any relevant or related discipline PE/CPEng certification Power generation and distribution Load management Data centre power systems Building management and control systems Facilities operation and maintenance Project management
