Tax Lead Analyst

Primary location is AT, secondary location option may be CZ Job Summary The Tax Analyst will support the Manager, International Tax Strategy located in Schrems, Austria (will report to Senior Director EMEA Tax Strategy located in Dublin on a temporary basis). The position's dynamic responsibilities will include all aspects of international tax including but not limited to assistance with corporate tax returns, planning projects as they arise, gathering and analysing information to support tax positions, partnering with Eaton's business operations, participating in cross-functional projects, and tax audit support. This role will support Austria, Poland, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, Greece and Portugal Job Responsibilities Monitor submission of corporate tax returns for designated EMEA countries Assist in gathering information in response to queries and requests from Tax Authorities Assist with the analysis of Merger and Acquisition projects, Reorganizations, and Legal Entity Simplication efforts as necessary Stay in touch and communicate with business operations to understand their business and potential impact of changes to the tax position of Eaton Monitor changes in tax legislation and international developments and analyze tax risk and opportunities for Eaton and take required actions Analyzing changes in Eaton's business and footprint to identify areas of tax opportunity or risk Participate in cross-functional meetings to develop a network of peers for the purpose of optimizing the flow of information into and out of the department Qualifications Qualifications Professional skills: Tax advisory qualification and Third level education (at least a bachelor’s degree) 3 to 7 years’ experience in a BIG 4 OR multinational tax department Strong knowledge of corporate income taxation Soft skills: Analytical skills for problem solving with focus on simple solutions Excellent written & oral communications skills in English, German strongly preferred Team player with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to communicate technical concepts for technical and non-technical audience Our management style at Eaton is characterized by ethical, passionate, responsible, efficient and transparent action, we are constantly learning.
