<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>Prospectus are excited to be working exclusively with our client to recruit for their new Executive Director.</p>
<p>The organisation addresses the skills gap in Myanmar (Burma) to tackle the country's worsening humanitarian crisis. Many people are trapped in poverty, or fleeing armed conflict or natural disaster. We offer hope - and practical, targeted support - to equip individuals and organisations with expertise to match their energy and dedication to build an alternative, peaceful future.</p>
<p>We work with local partners to provide access to critical thinking skills and formal education from post-high school level upwards. We offer scholarships to quality higher education abroad which isn't available in Myanmar. We help alumni combine the skills and knowledge they have gained, to maximise the positive difference they can make for their country.</p>
<p>The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership to the organisation and seek out new ways of delivering their programmes with the charity's beneficiaries. You will be the spokesperson for the organisation, communicating the mission, vision and purpose of the organisation. You will ensure the necessary organisational structures, people and skills are in place to enable the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with experience of developing and delivering on strategic objectives. You will have good numerical ability to support with forecasting and budgeting with clear understanding of good governance. A background in programme management and development would set the candidate up well, ideally with experience of monitoring impact.</p>
