PMC Lead Corrosion and Material Selection Engineer

<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

Wood is currently seeking expression of interest for a competent PMC Lead Materials and Corrosion Engineer responsible for leading and delivering the overall material and corrosion activities of the PMC contract to Wood and client&
39;s satisfaction.<br />
<br />
Please note that at this stage, applications for this role are invited as an Expression of Interest (EOI) whilst opportunities are being fully determined.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Provide expert input in material and corrosion technology</li>
<li>Prepare and issue engineering corrosion philosophy and corrosion management plans</li>
<li>Advise equipment, valves, and piping material selection based on internal and external corrosion</li>
<li>Prepare material selection reports and perform corrosion rate calculations</li>
<li>Prepare material specifications for pipes, piping components, valves, and mechanical equipment</li>
<li>Provide input to, review and approve material selection diagrams</li>
<li>Review material selection diagrams of vendors, licensors and third - parties</li>
<li>Prepare painting specifications, coating specifications and insulation specifications</li>
<li>Ensure that all produced deliverables are complied with QA / QC and ISO System requirements of the Company</li>

<li>Bachelor&
39;s degree in metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering</li>
<li>Experience in material and corrosion engineering in Oil and Gas and Petrochemicals industries</li>
<li>Minimum 15 years&
39; e xperience in material and corrosion engineering in Oil and Gas and Petrochemicals industries</li>
<li>Familiarity with ADNOC codes and standards</li>
</ul>
