<p>MetFilm School is one of the largest film schools in Europe, running accredited programmes across our London, Berlin and Leeds campuses. <p><b>About the role </b></p>
<p>The BA Practical Filmmaking Programme has been running successfully for over ten years and is currently going through a curriculum review. We are recruiting for the role of BA Practical Filmmaking Programme Leader.  In this role, you will lead and manage a small programme team, have responsibility for the delivery of the curriculum including the management of learning, teaching and assessment of a range of different cohorts of students and the maintenance and enhancement of academic standards.  You will work alongside the other Programme teams to implement the policies and procedures of MetFilm School.</p>
<p>You will have held a position of academic authority within an HE environment and you will bring industry experience as well as extensive teaching experience at undergraduate level.  As a practitioner you will participate in the delivery of inclusive teaching.  You will have had experience of enhancing the student experience and motivating a student population to be engaged critical thinkers and smart screen professionals.  This is complemented by excellent administrative and organisational skills relevant to the requirements of student experience, programme delivery and development within an academic context and an understanding and engagement with quality. You possess excellent interpersonal skills with the experience to lead, line manage and work alongside staff as an excellent team player.</p>
<p>A first degree in a relevant discipline and experience of teaching at Higher Education level is essential.  A teaching qualification, HEA fellowship, and post graduate level study are all preferred but not essential. </p>
