<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p><strong>A worldwide independent television, film and digital production and distribution company is looking for a qualified Finance Analyst with experience in the media industry to support its growing business. </strong></p><p>Candidates must have an enthusiastic approach and a strong technical background. This role is an ideal opportunity for the candidate to gain a wide range of experience across reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis. Reporting to the Head of Finance, responsibilities will include:</p><p><strong>Cash Forecasting and Reporting </strong></p><ul><li>Ownership of cash flow forecasting models</li><li>Submission of cash forecasts to group for short term 6 week forecast, annual reforecast and Budget</li><li>Analyse significant cash flow movements on a monthly basis to enable more accurate cash forecasting</li><li>Continue to develop existing models to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the cash flow forecasting process</li><li>Highlighting risks or opportunities in relation to achieving cash targets with the goal of improving working capital management</li><li>Working with the Sales Ledger Manager to ensure the flow of receipts is maintained</li><li>Facilitating production financing and factoring, maintaining correspondence between banks and producers</li></ul><p><strong>Business partnering and investment appraisal </strong></p><ul><li>Financial review of prospective scripted content investments using investment appraisal techniques including net present value and discounted cash flow modelling</li><li>Analysis of historic investment performance and general content financial performance analysis</li><li>Liaising with the Content team to maintain a cash forecast of content investments</li><li>Modelling funding for content investments and supporting decisions on suitable funding models</li><li>Producing purchase orders and authorising payments to producers</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements </strong></p><p>The successful candidate must have:</p><ul><li>ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified with a minimum 2 years PQE</li><li>Experience in television distribution/ licensing (preferred)</li></ul><p>Handle actively welcomes applicants from under-represented backgrounds - we pride ourselves on attracting the best talent for every opportunity through a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/cmljY2kuZ293bGFuZC40MjAwMy40MzlAaGFuZGxlLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif" rel="no-follow" />
