Your Role: A product manager focusing on SolarWinds’ IT service management products. Define a successful business strategy and product roadmap and work with Engineering, Sales, Marketing and others, to execute on the strategy. This role includes gathering requirements, defining roadmaps, creating epics, and user stories, and working with the product owner on ensuring those stories are successfully delivered. In addition, you will be responsible for evangelizing your products through various GTM activities such as delivering webinars, conducting analyst briefings, and sales enablement training. Responsibilities Your Impact: Manage the entire lifecycle of products from strategic planning to tactical activities. Become an expert in the product/s and keep up to date with technological advances. Identify and specify innovative products, features, functionality, and capabilities, by writing detailed product requirements. Focus on What and When. Drill down to How where necessary. Prioritize requirements based on business priorities, revenue goals and anticipated market needs. Base decisions on solid data whenever possible. Develop and execute on short- and long-term roadmaps Routinely communicate, work, and meet with customers, the field and subject matter experts. Be an advocate for customers, always keeping their interests in mind. Work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Design, QA, Support and Documentation. Evangelize products at industry events, seminars, customer briefings and other internal and external engagements. Provide strategic direction for our database monitoring solutions Ensure projects meet internal/stakeholder expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy. Prioritize and manage multiple projects in any given time period as well as be extremely detail oriented in tasks and communications. Qualifications Your Experience: 5+ years of product management experience Experience with SaaS products Solid understanding of IT service management, IT asset management, network discovery, and process automation software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with customers, partners, and press/analysts with accuracy and professionalism Ability to think and execute at both strategic and operational levels Demonstrated self-motivation and self-discipline to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer science, or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an Agile development environment
