Start-Up Leader

Reports to: Start-Up Manager<br> <br> Production: <br> - Coordinate with commissioning/production team for the preparation for hydrocarbons delivery for gas for fuel and compressors commissioning including the condensate transfers.<br> - Coordination with production and commissioning for OTS , especially when involving COF (Company Only Fluids) and wells START-UP/ramp up  for safe gas-in and wells Start-Up.<br> <br> Management:<br> You will manage the Start-Up engineers and hand over coordinators. Essential role in interfacing with all involved parties Hook-Up, Commissioning, Field Operations & vendors entities on daily basis.<br> <br> HSE: <br> •    Preparation of SIMOPS dossiers, minimizing the flaring and assuring during Start-up.<br> •    Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSEQ Policy, rising anomalies & reporting DGS in his area of concern.<br> •    In charge of Start Up team management.<br> •    Part of HSE site audits (PTW, safety walk, TOM/SIMOPS walk downs). Ready to take part in PTW <br> <br> In undertaking this role, the job holder will:<br> •    Be responsible for meeting agreed objectives.<br> •    Prepare the START-UP documents/deliverable assigned to her/him (mainly the general START-UP procedures and planning).<br> •    Adapt to changes in work practices, work locations, reporting requirements and job activities.<br> The Start-up Leader will be based offshore, she/he will follow the project agreed rotation scheme and may work in Esbjerg upon request.<br> <br> Activities:<br> •    The focal point of Start Up team on site and working closely with the field operations and commissioning team to ensure that work is going as per START-UP sequence and in appropriate manner.<br> •    Responsible for START-UP General Document preparation and then the execution on site after approval, this includes but not limited to be Start Up Execution Plan, START-UP Consumables<br> •    Manage the START-UP interface with different parties onsite (organize the witnessing by START-UP and Production team for the execution of commissioning activities (OTPs, leak tests…). Beside the interface with the onshore CCR and other sites when required.<br> •    Part of the interface is to make Sure that all existing lines are ready for use on time & dry-out performed properly<br> •    Issue the START-UP reports (daily/weekly, monthly & close out) <br> •    With START-UP Manager, coordinate on time, the need for mobilization/Supply of material, consumables & Tools as well as vendor / man-power Support requirements for Start-up issue<br> •    Review and validate the commissioning dossiers and approve the punch list before entry into PIMS-CMS<br> •    Carry out any other duties or start up related tasks that may be assigned by hierarchical Superiors<br> Context and environment<br> <br> Accountabilities/Purpose:<br> •    Ensure close coordination on site with the different stakeholders for the Start-up related matters.<br> •    Keep focus on the main goal (safe Start-Up, no down time and proper document handover).<br> •    Ensure the hand over to FOPS from Commissioning team is properly done (closure of punch list).<br> <br> Qualifications/Experience required:<br> •    Qualification: Engineer <br> •    Professional experience: <br> o    Min 10 years working on Oil & Gas with proven experience in Start-up and operation of oil and gas processes, utilities and water treatment with a multi discipline competences <br> o    Good experience in gas processing (multi stages compression start-up)<br> o    Risk analysis, Safety of personnel and facilities<br> <br> Knowledge of:<br> •    Regulatory framework of the Group / countries<br> •    Language: fluent English<br> •    Computer literate<br> •    Strong leadership skills and good communication skills, Transverse work efficiency skills<br> •    Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment<br> •    Job holder shall be aware that offshore commissioning is applying OPERCOM methodology but using PIMS-CMS instead of ICAPS, Supported by GS as long as no conflict with the project original specifications (MOTS) <br /><br />With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
