<b>JOB PURPOSE:</b><br><br>Plan effective implementation Group Asset integrity & Process Safety (AIPS) governance and business operations compliance with ADNOC AIPS requirements and applicable legal legislations as well as provide assessment of Group integrity AIPS performance with in-house AIPS policies, strategies, and standards requirements as a contributory factor to the Management of Major Accident Hazards. Additionally, he or she shall provide advice and guidance on compliance matters relating to AIPS activities<br><br><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESG:</b><br><br><b>Job Specific Accountabilities</b><ul> <li>Develop ADNOC Group AIPS Standards, Guidelines, Manuals, Processes, Key Performance Indicators and Governance Requirements as assigned and ensure alignment with ADNOC strategic objective. </li> <li>Lead and Assist in the Development of ADNOC Group AIPS Audit and Assurance plan with clear requirements (e.g., compliance assurance programs, assessment, and validation audits for the organization)</li> <li>Conducts compliance reviews in accordance with established AIPS standards and practices and provide guidance on compliance matters as set out in agreed annual audit plans.</li> <li>Establish, arrange, coordinate, and implement assurance and audits programs activities from third-party organizations.</li> <li>Take part in teams delivering periodic compliance testing/surveillance and ensure successful and timely completion of the compliance program.</li> <li>Monitor and follow up with stakeholders to enable effective and rapid action to be taken to address non-compliance.</li> <li>Prepare periodic AIPS governance implementation status update reports.</li> <li>Prepare periodic AIPS performance update reports.</li> <li>Review and provide technical assessment of all deviation requests to ADNOC Group AIPS standards and other approved processes / requirements.</li> <li>Lead / Contribute to technical reviews covering AIPS requirements (e.g., HSEIA Review, COMAH review, Asset Acquisition Review, AIPS Assessments, etc.).</li> <li>Briefing and reporting to senior management on matters relating to compliance with AIPS policies, strategies, and standards. This is to be done in a clearly to enable effective communication and support effective regulatory decision-making.</li> <li>To co-ordinate ADNOC HQ internal AIPS policy, strategy, and standards compliance activities in areas of responsibility with the various stakeholders as directed.</li> <li>Ensure accurate recording of all activities and interactions key stakeholders to support effective knowledge sharing throughout the organization.</li> <li>Generate ideas and contribute to initiatives to support continuous improvement of AI processes and ways of working to maximize cost reduction and operational effectiveness.</li> <li>Stay abreast of AIPS regulatory and legal developments, interpret, and provide advice across the various departments of the organization.</li> <li>Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders regarding new or emerging global AIS compliance issues and trends.</li> <li>Proactively identify potential and existing risk compliance issues and address them appropriately.</li> <li>Undertake research work in the compliance matters related to AIPS framework and new development.</li> <li>Development of ADNOC Group competency / career development requirements for AIPS positions.</li> <li>Participate in the technical vetting of AIPS technical authorities and technical staff (e.g., interview panel, appointment panel, assessments, etc.).</li> <li>Develop and conduct periodic training, where necessary, for all departments to ensure staff awareness of potential and existing compliance matters applicable to AIPS in area of responsibility.</li> <li>Act as a technical authority for AIPS as assigned in line with ADNOC Technical Authority Framework.</li> <li>Facilitate respective AIPS group communities of practice and coordinate their activities in line with ADNOC guidelines on the subject.</li> <li>Review relevant Group AIPS business plan requirements and where necessary identify areas for optimization.</li> <li>As assigned, participate as a member is governance forums relating to AIPS.</li> <li>As assigned, participate / lead any related management review / assessment (e.g., Incident Investigation, Independent Reviews, etc.).</li> <li>Facilitate means of sharing all related internal / external lessons learned and to discuss potential emerging challenges to ensure consistent improvement of AIPS</li> <li>Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time as directed.</li> </ul><br><b>Any Other Key Accountabilities </b><ul> <li>Perform any other key initiatives / projects activities specifically related to the mandate of the ADNOC Group CEO, the Government of Abu Dhabi and the UAE Government as assigned.</li> </ul><br><b> Generic Accountabilities </b><br><br><b>Supervision</b><ul> <li>Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.</li> <li>Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.</li> </ul><br><b>Budgets</b><ul> <li>Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives. </li> <li>Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.</li> </ul><br><b>Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures</b><ul> <li>Implement approved Function/ Division/ Department/ Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.</li> </ul><br><b>Performance Management</b><ul> <li>Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function/ Division / Department/ Section in line with the Company Performance framework.</li> </ul><br><b>Innovation and Continuous Improvement</b><ul> <li>Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.</li> <li>Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.</li> </ul><br><b>Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability</b><ul> <li>Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.</li> </ul><br><b>Reports</b><ul> <li>Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.</li> </ul><br><b>COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:</b><br><br><b>Internal</b><ul> <li>Group Projects Function Management.</li> <li>Any other Directorate / Unit, as required.</li> </ul><br><b>External</b><ul> <li>Shareholders, counterparts & members of the ADNOC Group, as required. </li> <li>Local and international vendors, contractors, and third-party service providers.</li> <li>Government organisations and entities.</li> <li>Intergovernmental organizations, and international bodies.</li> </ul><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: </b><br><br><b>Minimum Qualification</b><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline or other related technical disciplines (e.g., risk management) from recognized universities.</li> </ul><br><b>Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills</b><ul> <li>10 years of relevant experience in risk management, AIPS management and /or audit experience with a strong focus on risks and AIPS management controls.</li> <li>Demonstrated track record in contributing and leading strategic AIPS initiatives.</li> <li>Demonstrated track record at individual contribution in related technical roles.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of ADNOC and international AIPS standards and frameworks.</li> <li>Possess a versatile multi-disciplinary skill set, an ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, business-oriented mind-set, and analytical skills.</li> <li>Excellent oral, interpersonal, and writing skills in English.</li> <li>Preferred excellence oral, interpersonal, and writing skills in Arabic.</li> <li>High ethical standards, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Significant experience in drafting and carrying out research for the purpose of initiating, developing, implementing, and maintaining written policies and procedures with limited supervision.</li> <li>Professional independence: carries out work independently with due care under the direct supervision of the Head of department, Corporate and ultimate leadership of ADNOC.</li> <li>Strong competence in the use of standard software such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent deadlines. And strong ability to work flexibly to meet changing priorities for the team and the organization.</li> <li>Able to collect and analyse evidence to identify clearly and potential areas of non-compliance against conditions systematically and objectively.</li> <li>Able to use evidence, analysis, and initiative to solve problems and tackle issues.</li> <li>Able to challenge professionally and influence others, to contribute to effective decision making.</li> <li>Able to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.</li> <li>Ability to understand ADNOC HQ strategic context and ensure that all work contributes to the organization's priorities.</li> </ul><br>Group Company: ADNOC HQ <br><br>Mar 3, 2022
