What are my responsibilities? · Provide architectural guidance and governance for new solutions, services, updates and releases and ensure their compliance with the existing architectural landscape · Drive the formulation of guidelines for an architectural landscape for the Factory Automation domain together with Enterprise Architecture team. · Realize and evolve “Enterprise-Level” architecture and architectural principles across Factory Automation business line in collaboration with partners · Active involvement in architectural topics for Industrial IoT, Cloud, Edge related projects in close collaboration with architects, product owners and developers · Translate business requirements into specific process aligned designs · Guide team members on design, implementation ensuring architectural governance · Network and consult with other architects across the globe for future architecture & portfolio topics · Supports the strategic planning of target industry framework(s) · Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines What do I need to qualify for this job? · BSc., MSc. or PhD in Computer Science or in related areas · Very good command of English · Minimum 5 years’ experience as software architect in designing, engineering, and implementation of in professional software products · Advanced knowledge of SW architecture frameworks, architecture & design patterns · Demonstrable enterprise architecture planning and design skills · Strong understanding and hands on experience in handling product quality · Proven skills and experience in requirements analysis, system interface design, system description, system safety design, prototyping, testing, up-scaling and deployment of Enterprise applications · Proven skills and experience in latest IoT/Edge/Cloud-based application development technologies ( i.e. Java Spring, Angular js, Node js, React js, HTML5, CSS3, etc. ) is a must · Hands-on experience in designing and developing software applications for one of cloud and IoT platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure or IBM Bluemix etc. ) is a must · Strong hands-on experience with container and orchestration · Knowledge in Data Analytics, AI, ML-based solutions is a plus · Strong problem solving and analytical skills · Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams What else do I need to know? · Military service should be completed for male candidates · No restrictions for travelling “At Siemens we are always challenging ourselves to build a better future.
