If you share our passion for discovery and want to find out what you could really do, then here is the place to do it. <br> <br> <b>Job Description:</b><br> <br> <b>The Position holder is responsible for: </b><br> <ul> <li> Delivering CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) projects, consulting with operations groups as needed to support CCS projects, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and formally communicating findings.</li> <li> Actively participate in promoting new technology and services offerings and supports the Product Line in risk management and applying lessons learned to improve job design and execution as related to the area of expertise.</li> <li> Provide real-time support to operations as required.</li> </ul> <br> <b>Qualifications:</b><br> <ul> <li> 15+ years relevant experience (with minimum 8 years of hands on CCS experience) </li> <li> Proficiency in geological mapping</li> <li> Proficiency in structural geology and fault seal analysis</li> <li> Proficiency in sedimentology</li> <li> Proficiency in rock petrophysical properties, rock-gas/fluid interface, capillarity</li> <li> Awareness of rock geomechanical properties and their impact on CCS storage</li> <li> Well placement</li> <li> Data acquisition program</li> <li> Advance knowledge of structural, facies and petrophysical 3D modeling in Petrel</li> <li> Hands-on experience in CCS study project including: <ul> <li> Familiar with certification procedures (CARB, EPA permit VI, ISO) and geological input</li> <li> Experience in integrated projects and Cross discipline knowledge and communication (geophysics, petrophysics, geomechanics, reservoir engineering, economic)</li> <li> Experience in preparing CCS monitoring plan</li> <li> Experience in preparing CCS risk register; safety and risk assessment (likelihood, severity)</li> </ul> </li> <li> Fluency in English</li> </ul> <br> Schlumberger is an equal opportunity employer.
