INTERCOMPANY PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

Once the requisition has been fully sourced and populated by the Sourcing Specialist it is the Procurement Specialists responsibility to place the order and manage it through to delivery and PO close out, which includes invoicing being processed.<br> <br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><ul><li>Purchase materials and services that comply with the agreed upon specifications and requirement, as well as using contract/standard pricing with suppliers</li><li>Manage the performance of existing suppliers on delivery, quality, price and services</li><li>Good Communication skills and understand material requirements based on project requirements and production plan.</li><li>Align KPIs with the company's goal and meets the KPI set.</li><li>Create Optimus SAP PO</li><li>Review of supplier order confirmations / order acknowledgements</li><li>Host Kick Off Meeting with Supplier & OSS Eng., QA, PM, Welding.</li><li>MPS, FA, Weld Spec and ITP Coordination</li><li>Conduct Pre-Production Meetings with vendors to ensure all specific requirements are clearly conveyed.</li><li>Raise Deviations/Mat-Subs/Technical queries, Concessions</li><li>Manage Revision Changes</li><li>Work with Engineering, Quality and Project Management to align project priorities</li><li>Supplier Schedule Reviews</li><li>Update PO change & conduct PO maintenance.</li><li>Support coordination of NOI, witness & inspection on site Supplier</li><li>Inventory control, Reschedules and expediting, PO Cancellations</li><li>Clarify & investigate invoicing issues</li><li>NCRs, SDRs and CPARs incl RTV, Return/Rework</li><li>Follow up with suppliers to resolve documentation issues related to MRBs</li><li>Attend meetings to review part issues/defects found by QC/Warehouse/Pre-release docs</li><li>Managing Finance Cash Hold</li><li>Involve the Procurement Specialist Spot Buyer (PSC) in spot buys.</li><li>Escalate complex issues to the Category Procurement Leader</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement projects.</li><li>Use all required procurement tools when required or mandated by process (OMT, Power BI, BOM Downloader, Ariba, ASL, QUEST)</li></ul><br><br><b>Minimum Job Qualifications</b><br> <ul><li>Minimum Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, logistics or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 1 years' experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain equivalent roles.</li><li>Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment will be a major plus.</li><li>Fluency in English and Malay language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical, data analysis, and project management skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Access.</li><li>Extensive experience in sourcing processes (e.g. RFI/RFQ), negotiation strategies, contract management, project management, collaboration skills as well as market analysis capabilities to drive operational excellence</li><li>Have working rights in Malaysia and willing to be based in Johor.</li></ul>
