<b>Overview</b><br />
<br />
Operates as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of Saudi Aramco Small Helicopters in support of company operations. He may<br />
also be assigned as a Second-in-Command (SIC) of the Medium Helicopters in support of company operations.<br />
<br />
When assigned as Pilot-in-Command:<br />
Responsible for Small helicopters in support of company operations in Ras Tanura & Tanajib, onshore & offshore<br />
to include: personnel and cargo transportation, search and rescue, medical evacuations, VIP, security patrols,<br />
photographic, hydrographic, pollution and pipeline patrols.<br />
When assigned as Second-in-Command:<br />
Responsible for Medium helicopters in support of company operations in Ras Tanura & Tanajib, onshore &<br />
offshore to include: personnel and cargo transportation, harbor pilot/ship ops, search and rescue, medical<br />
evacuation and VIP flights.<br />
Assumes command of the helicopter in the event of PIC incapacitation.<br />
<br />
<b>Key Responsibilities</b><br />
<br />
Responsible for complete knowledge of operating procedures in aircraft assigned to<br />
operate. Assists Pilot-in-Command in carrying out the performance of his duty when<br />
assigned as Second-in-Command.<br />
<br />
Performs visual inspections to assure aircraft worthiness. Assures that all documents are<br />
completed in compliance with Government Regulations and company policy.<br />
<br />
Obtains flight clearances and weather reports to assure safe flight route to destination<br />
or cancels the flight if in his opinion safe weather conditions do not exist.<br />
<br />
Checks all paperwork related to his flight such as passenger and cargo manifests, routes<br />
and destination. Monitors loading/off-loading of passengers and cargo to assure no injury<br />
or damage occurs.<br />
<br />
Directs his crew members and passengers in case of any emergency to ensure that safety<br />
procedures are understood and successfully executed.<br />
<br />
Pilots the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with established<br />
procedures set forth by Government Regulations, the aircraft manufacturer and company<br />
policy or guidelines.<br />
<br />
Advises the Aviation Manager, Helicopter Chief Pilot and Fleet Captain of anything which<br />
may impede safety of operation and performs additional flight or ground duties as assigned<br />
by the Aviation Manager, Helicopter Chief Pilot or Fleet Captain.<br />
