Blaster Painter

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is recruiting Blaster Painters - Offshore, an exciting & challenging role on the BSP Offshore Rejuvenation project <br><br><ul><li> Receives verbal instructions from the Painting Foreman and obtains required materials and supplies </li><li> Prepares grit - blasting or other blasting equipment prior to use, including ensuring compressed air pressures are correct, quality of grit, and replacing worn rubber linings in the nozzle, as required </li><li> Must have had experience in grit blasting to SA1, SA2, SA2.5 and SA3 </li><li> Performs duties of Painter as and when required </li><li> Performs related duties, such as keeping work area clean and tidy, observing fire and safety rules and regulations, etc. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Qualifications / Training </b><br><br>Essential: <br><ul><li> No trade training requirements </li><li> Internal Trade Test </li></ul><br> Desirable: <br><ul><li> As opposite </li></ul><br><b> Experience </b><br><br>Essential: <br><ul><li> Completion of primary education </li><li> 5 years' experience in grit - blasting on industrial plant, preferably Petro - chemical facilities </li><li> Basic knowledge of written and spoken English </li></ul><br> Desirable: <br><ul><li> As above </li></ul><br><b> Personal qualities, aptitudes, and skills </b><br><ul><li> Considerable - involving lifting, pulling, and pushing.
