<b>Position description</b><br />
<br />
We are seeking a Business Development Analyst to join the Upstream Development.<br />
<br />
The Upstream Development is responsible for providing the following:<br />
<br />
Performs detailed transaction development and execution activities related to Upstream activities, mainly for joint ventures as well as merger and acquisitions, by applying extensive knowledge in areas related to commercial negotiation and financial modeling and definitive documents development.<br />
<br />
Conducts due diligence on technical and commercial aspects of the new venture, develops business plan and financial modeling, performs structuring of new venture and negotiations with potential partners to achieve final investment decision as well as deal closure and company establishment, and provide expertise to design the capabilities required by the new venture to succeed with the support of relevant organizations. Work direction is always available as required as the expectation is for the candidate is to be part of a working team. Only if assigned as a leader for the team, directs the work of team members as well as qualified experienced professionals as may be required.<br />

Develop business plan, financial model, optimal commercial structure of the new venture and negotiation strategy with potential partners.<br />
<br />
Conduct due diligence on technical and commercial aspects of the new venture with the support of relevant organizations.<br />
<br />
Develop commercial aspects of the definitive documents, conduct definitive documents negotiations, develop the new venture financing plan.<br />
<br />
Develop and review key definitive documents, commercial terms and related activities.<br />
<br />
Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed.<br />
<br />
High competency in commercial and financial aspects of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and divestments.<br />
<br />
<b>Minimum requirements</b><br />
<br />
The Business Development Analyst&
39;s primary role is to support the screening, planning and the development of new business ventures by applying extensive knowledge in the area of business development. The Business Development Analyst independently evaluates new business proposals and participates in the development of new business ventures. Also extends support beyond business analysis and planning and may be involved in the structuring and negotiation of deals to achieve final deal closure.<br />

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor&
39;s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance from a recognized and approved international program.<br />
<br />
You will have at least ten years&
39; experience in Oil &amp; Gas transaction, including at least 3 years in Midstream transaction.<br />
<br />
<b>Duties and responsibilities</b><br />
<br />
You will be required to perform the following:<br />

Consultant on documentation review.<br />
<br />
Perform initial sanity checks on documentation packages ensuring all activities are captured, accurately reviewed and processed in a timely fashion.<br />
<br />
Manage queries addressed by Advisors.<br />
<br />
Update documentation and processing status in the inventory database as per clearly defined processes.<br />
<br />
Deal with Company requests concerning different changes on transaction.<br />
<br />
Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports.<br />
<br />
Effectively communicate and work in close cooperation with representatives of other COMPANY departments.<br />
