We are looking for a Python Developer to join our scalable architecture team and help us develop and maintain various software products. Python Developer responsibilities include in a nusthell: working closely with technical business analysts to be able to translate user stories to their best implentations for our internal requesters. Ultimately, you’ll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs. Scope of Responsibilities Development, maintenance and enhancement of web based back office applications, and underlying databases while adhering to company quality standards. Integrating user-facing elements into applications. Creation and maintenance of clear, concise system documentation and manuals. Implement and maintain database code in the form of stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc. Qualifications We are looking for somebody with Good interpersonal skills: all we need is that you like to communicate with people if they have a question, they need support etc. This can happen at all levels: sometimes junior colleagues, sometimes high level managers will reach out to you. Requirements At least 2 years of work experience as a Python Developer Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Pylons, Flask or Django) Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM) Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5) Experience with relational databases (like PostgreSQL) Basic understanding of agile processes, procedures and tools like Atlassian – Jira Additional Skills Business knowledge of the energy services sector. Technical Architecture and application design. Technology stack: Front-end tech stack HTML5, CSS/SASS, Javascript (also, common libraries like Vue, Jquery or Angular). Back-end tech stack Programming languages: Python and VBA. Web frameworks: Pylons/Pyramid, Django, Flask (MVC style frameworks), plus knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
