You play a central role in testing, verifying and validating electrical product specifications. Life Is On – are you too? Your responsibilities: In this position you will transfer R&D drives verification test to automatized software tests by using HIL (Hardware in the loop), collaborate with other locations for example in France, India, China and Japan to share the best practices and implement the best practices commonly. You will also discuss the findings / results from the verification & validation tests of drives with the design team in order to improve the performance of the FW. In addition, you will create a FW test plan for new drives and drive-systems by keeping time schedule and budget as well as participate to maintenance and evolution of existing drives FW offers. Your daily work includes the support and maintenance of already existing software testbenches (Labview, Teststand, Testcomplete, etc.). You will improve cost and productivity with each iteration to optimize the testing process and use the technical know-how and proactively engage in team knowledge transfer. About you: The ideal candidate has completed a bachelor’s degree or higher within the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or electrical drives and machines or equivalent vocational training with a proven track record in a similar position. You have experience in Testcomplete automation platform for desktop applications for automation of Schneider Electric specific software based on .NET technologies like FDT & DTM as well as knowledge in Labview (NI-cRIO / NI-Teststand / NI-DAQ). You understand embedded real-time and integrated communication bus architectures as well as V&V methods. In addition, you are competent in OPAL RT HW, OPAL RT Lab SW and PLC environment and communication protocols. You are a team player who listens and values ideas and opinions of other team members and an independent self-starter who is capable of working structured and accurate without day to day supervision and guidance.
