Senior Control System Software Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently looking for a Senior Control System Software Engineer to join our team in the UAE on a 6 months contract <br><br><ul><li> The engineer will report to DPE Lead Control System Engineer. </li><li> The primary job is to migrate Rockwell application program for turbine machinery control and well head systems (Logix 5 coding to ControlLogix 5000 and Rs-View to Factory talk). </li><li> To provide day-to-day support to SEG team for the minor works </li><li> As Senior Engineer, when assigned on projects, responsible for managing the team of engineers, designers, and delivering the engineering requirements of the project </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Bachelor of Science degree in Instrument Engineering <br></li><li> The engineer should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Rockwell control system migrations and software developments (PLC-5 and ControlLogix). </li><li> Should be proficient in well head process and turbo machinery application, capable of decoding the logic independently and migrate to the latest application, testing and commissioning. </li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills <br></li><li> Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills <br></li><li> Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards <br></li><li> Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems <br></li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
