Senior Business Analyst

The role of a Senior Business Analyst is to identify opportunities for the brands to achieve higher financial performance for the Affiliate. Responsible for on-going review of monthly Net/retail Sales and Profit & Loss performance. Highlight over or under spending areas for prompt follow up by Brand/Consumer Managers and track actual performance against budget/LE (Latest Estimate). Play an innovative and active role in providing financial advice and assistance to brands on their business issues and able to communicate financial perspective on business issues to brands in their language. Good knowledge of the business environment and able to provide an independent evaluation of brands financial forecast, and assessment of financial risk or opportunities while performing competitor watch and market trends so as to highlight risk and opportunities in Store ranking and market share. Discuss and review monthly Profit & Loss estimates and sales commentaries with Brand Managers and ensure timely and accurate reporting. Prepare presentations for Retailers and internal Management and manage Corporate and Regional performance Reporting Work with brands to develop their store targets and help brands determine and action appropriate Pricing strategies To manage the Annual budget process, monthly Estimate process and to assist the brands in achieving projected Sales and controlling Expenditure Work with brands to produce and evaluate Profit & Loss for product launches/special events, Profit & Loss for new door/account, Profit & Loss for existing doors/accounts Other ad-hoc projects as assigned to review and enhance business and financial processes while sonstantly seeking to value-add to current process, information system, and business growth The above statements reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principle functions of the job identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work required inherent in the job. Qualifications Degree holder in Accountancy, preferably a certified CPA. 6 years of relevant experience with background in accounting. Previous financial analysis experience in an MNC Hands-on experience in SAP and Hyperion would be an advantage Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently and perform under pressure Possess strong communication, presentation and influencing skills A true Business Partner to critically evaluate commercial decision and think beyond the box.
