Internal Control, Policy and Process Officer – Pacific

Based in Sydney, we have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the Schneider Finance team in the capacity of Internal Control, Policy and Process Officer. Reporting to the Territory CAO you will be accountable for Internal Controls in all Schneider Electric entities in Australia and New Zealand. Specific responsibilities will include: ensure controls are embedded in operations with a focus on digitization and standardization to minimise and mitigate risks be the champion for key internal controls (as well as process owner for certain controls) and its implementation drive controls self-assessment – scoping of entities and identification of process owners end to end territory process maps and policies audits and process reviews (internal audits, internal control reviews by external audits, shared service partners) be the trainer and “super user” at territorial level first point of contact for process owners About You You are highly driven and confident professional who wants to work for a value based organisation whose solutions are leading edge. You are focused, collaborative and passionate about the work that you do. In addition, you possess the following relevant skills: undergraduate degree in all Majors will be considered (preference to Fin/Accounting) demonstrated experience of at least 10 years with 3 –5 years’ experience in Big 4 (audit) and Key role within operational or financial functions with broad view of business processes and compliance mindset strong in controls and have great influencing skills That’s all the functional stuff but equally critical is your energy, curiosity, customer focus and ability to collaborate extensively, remaining a selfless and committed team player.
